The world's first intelligent body project for all-domain risk prevention and control in mines has been launched

The "MineGuard AI - The world's first Intelligent Body for All-Domain Risk Prevention and Control in Mines" project, led by Taiyuan University of Technology, relying on the Shanxi Provincial Laboratory of Intelligent Mines, and jointly initiated by multiple units such as Liaoning University, Jinneng Holding Group, Huawei Technologies Co., LTD., and Guoshen Company, was launched in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province recently.
The "Mine Safety Brain" project aims to break through the traditional mine safety management model through precise integration of multi-source heterogeneous data and construction of knowledge graphs, and achieve an all-round layout of intelligent monitoring and precise disaster early warning. Based on the construction of a large database for mine safety and a knowledge graph for accident and disaster prevention and control, this project will train and generate a large model for mine safety. Through the corresponding hardware system, Realize human-machine language interaction, the invocation of scientific research tools, intelligent generation of technical documents, mine disaster control (active identification of hazard sources, accident prediction, early warning and forecast), intelligent guidance for the safety regulation of personnel and machine equipment parameters, as well as auxiliary decision-making for emergency rescue, covering the intelligent prevention and control of typical accident disasters such as water, fire, gas, dust, roof, rock burst, and coal and gas outburst. Form a closed-loop system of "knowledge-driven - risk pre-control - intelligent decision-making" for intelligent mine safety, and achieve the transformation of mine safety management from experience-based decision-making to data-driven, from passive response to active prevention and control, and from single-point control to system collaborative intelligent pre-control.
It is learned that the creation of the "Mine Safety Intelligent Brain" this time is a major exploration by Taiyuan University of Technology in the interdisciplinary field of "artificial intelligence + mine safety".
