How to clean the air conditioning filter for Excavator

First, clean air conditioning filter

1. Remove the wing bolt (1) from the inspection window at the bottom left of the cab, and then take out the inner circulation air conditioner.

2. Clean the air conditioning filter with compressed air. If the air filter is oily or dirty, rinse with neutral media. After rinsing in water, allow it to dry thoroughly before reuse.

Replace the new air conditioning filter every year. If the air filter is blocked and cannot be cleaned with pressurized air or water, replace the air filter immediately.

The air conditioning filter must be installed in the correct direction. When installing the air conditioning filter, make the protruding part face the front of the machine

Second, clean the external circulation air conditioning filter

1. Open the cover (2) on the left rear of the cab with the key of the starter switch, then open the cover (2) by hand and remove the air conditioner element (3) inside the cover.

2. Clean the air conditioning filter with compressed air. If the air filter is oily or dirty, rinse with neutral media. After rinsing in water, allow it to dry thoroughly before reuse.

Replace the new air conditioning filter every year. If the air filter is blocked and cannot be cleaned with pressurized air or water, replace the air filter immediately.

3. After cleaning, put the air filter element (3) into place and close the cover. Use the key of the starter switch to lock the cover. Don't forget to unplug the starter switch.

Remarks:

The outer circulation air conditioning filter must also be installed in the correct direction. When installing, first insert the long (L) end of the air conditioning filter (3) into the filter box. If the short (S) end is installed first, the cover (2) cannot be closed.

Note: As a guide, the air conditioning filter should be cleaned once every 500 hours, but when using the machine in a dusty work site, the air conditioning filter should be cleaned more frequently. If the air conditioner filter is clogged, the air volume will decrease and abnormal noise can be heard from the air conditioning unit. If compressed air is used, dust may fly and cause serious personal injury. Always use goggles, dust cover or other protective gear.
