Except for the Chinese region, the operating hours of Komatsu excavators in the four major regions including Europe, North America, Japan, and Indonesia all showed positive growth year-on-year. However, in July, the operating hours of Komatsu excavators in the Chinese region were 88.4 hours, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%.

Looking at the five regions around the world, namely China, Europe, North America, Japan and Indonesia, the operating hours of Komatsu excavators in July compared with June showed positive growth in all five regions. Among them, the operating hours in China and North America increased by less than 3 hours, while those in Japan and Europe increased by 5 to 8 hours. The operating hours of Komatsu excavators in Indonesia saw the largest month-on-month growth, rising from 195.6 hours to 219.9 hours. Moreover, Indonesia itself is the region with the longest operating hours for Komatsu excavators.

In July, the operating hours of small excavators produced by Komatsu in China were 88.4 hours, a decrease of 0.3% compared to the previous year. Compared to the average working hours in June, there was a slight increase. The possible reason behind this could be that the construction project start rates in various regions have risen again recently, which seems to have some connection.
