Recently, the China Construction Machinery Industry Association released the sales figures of excavators for December. 
According to statistics, in December 2024, a total of 19,369 various types of excavators were sold, representing a year-on-year increase of 16%. 

Among them, the domestic sales volume was 9,312 units, increasing by 22.1% year-on-year; the export volume was 10,057 units, increasing by 10.8% year-on-year.

Based on the previously announced sales data of excavators from January to November this year, we can see... 
In December, the sales volume of excavators, both in total, domestically, and for exports, all continued to increase! 
Especially from a domestic perspective, the domestic sales volume of excavators reached a peak in March, with over 15,000 units. 
After that, there was a continuous decline for several months. By July, it had dropped to its lowest point of over 6,200 units. 
After surviving the sluggish sales period during the Mid-Autumn Festival, thanks to the gradual resumption of construction projects across the country,

In December, the domestic sales volume once again exceeded 9,000 units. 
While the domestic sales figures have shown a year-on-year increase, starting from March this year, they have maintained positive growth for a consecutive 10 months.
Regarding the export of excavators, starting from August this year, 
The export volume of excavators has remained between 8,000 and 8,500 units. 
And the export volume in December exceeded 10,000 units. 
It objectively reflects that the foreign market is increasingly accepting the level of intelligence and greenness of Chinese brand excavators. 
This is a positive sign for Chinese construction machinery enterprises that are seeking new ways forward.
